The Vacation Code is a tours and travel company running fixed group departures and customised private tours across India and overseas. Every itinerary is quality-checked by our operations team, priced in Indian Rupees, and bookable without a sales call.

Yes. Scheduled fixed group departures suit solo travellers, friends and anyone who likes travelling with a group, while customised private tours are built around your own dates for couples, families and private groups.

We contract directly with ground operators, transport providers and hotels rather than buying through a middleman, so the price you see is the operating cost plus our margin - not an agency markup stacked on top of someone else's.

Only if you ask us to. We do not make unsolicited sales calls. Itineraries, quotes and confirmations come to you by email or WhatsApp, and you decide when a conversation is useful.

Every tour page lists its own inclusions and exclusions in full - accommodation and its category, ground transport, tour captain, the meals that are covered, and the sightseeing entries that are ticketed. Anything not on the inclusions list is not in the price.

Itineraries are built and driven by senior tour captains who know the route, and the operations team reviews hotels, vehicles and timings before a date is opened for sale.

Yes. Use "Request a custom tour" or the enquiry form on any tour page and tell us your destination, dates, group size and what matters to you. Our team builds a private proposal around that rather than selling you a fixed departure.

You can pay online securely through Razorpay - UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and EMI. Your seat is held the moment the payment succeeds, and your booking confirmation reaches you by email straight away.

Tour fares are shown inclusive of GST, and the exact GST amount is broken out for you on the booking and checkout pages. For overseas travel, TCS under Section 206C(1G) of the Income-tax Act is collected on top of the fare and shown as its own line - it is a tax credit you can claim back when you file your return, not a fee we keep.

Each tour page shows its own cancellation milestones with the exact refund percentage against the number of days before departure, and those same milestones are repeated on the booking page before you pay. Approved refunds go back to the account you paid from, typically within 5–7 working days once processed.

Tell us as early as you can - write to support or raise a ticket from your account. Date changes depend on availability on the new departure and on what the hotels and transport operators allow at that point, so the earlier you ask, the more likely it is to be free of charge.

Across India we run Kashmir, Ladakh, Spiti, Himachal, Kerala, Goa, Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Sikkim and the Andamans, and overseas we run Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Dubai and Europe. The destinations page always shows what is live right now.

Departures marked "Guaranteed" on the tour page run on the listed date once the minimum group size is met, and we currently have 60 guaranteed departures open in the next 90 days. Any date without that badge is still filling, so check the badge before you book flights.

Yes - every tour page has a share link, so your group can open the same itinerary, compare departure dates and decide together before anyone pays.
